Dany Baz
General Manager of Bankdata Financial Services
Dany is the General Manager of Bankdata Financial Services, a publishing and consulting company
specialized in the Lebanese banking sector since the mid-80s.
Before returning to her company in 2010, Dany held several consecutive jobs at Bank Audi Sal:
Head of Marketing and Communications, and Head of Retail Banking for Lebanon and Egypt.
Her previous experience was in the press as General Manager of the Arabic edition of Readers’
Digest (Al Mukhtar) and as a Marketing Executive for francophone Europe of Middle East
Economic Digest (MEED).
Dany holds a B.A. in Marketing from l’Ecole du Marketing et de la Publicité (EMP - Paris) and a
Masters in Management and Finance from l’Institut Supérieur des Sciences Economiques et
Commerciales (ISSEC - Paris).
Pierre Issa
Founder of Arc en Ciel

Pierre Issa was born in Zahlé in 1957.

He founded the NGO "arcenciel" in 1985 and served as its General Manager. "arcenciel" is one of Lebanon's largest independent social institutions and the first association to win the 2010 Takreem Award, in addition to other awards.

He was formerly the General Manager of Domaine de Taanayel which includes agricultural territories and a farm for dairy products covering an area of 2.2 km2 in the Bekaa region, which is also an eco-tourism destination.

Prior to that, he was the General Manager of Lebanon Water Company – “Sannine”, and later on, he served as the General Manager of “Lignes et Couleurs” which produced furniture.

Pierre Issa lectures regularly at universities and forums in Lebanon, France, and Tunisia, and has actively participated in the World Economic Forum – Davos in 2015.

In 2014, Pierre was awarded “Chevalier” in the French “Legion d’Honneur” and “Commandate” in the Spanish “Order of Civil Merit” in recognition of arcenciel’s achievements in Lebanon and abroad.

In 2015, he was awarded “Social Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Schwab Foundation, the founders of the World Economic Forum, which was the first time it was awarded to a Lebanese citizen.

Wafa Saab
General Manager, Tinol Paints Board Member, Kulluna Irada
Wafa Saab is the General Manager of Tinol Paints, a leader in the Paint & Coatings industry in the Middle East, founded in 1956. She was elected as the Personality of the Year in the Industry Sector in 2012 and was the first woman to be elected as President of the Worldwide Alumni Association of AUB in 2015. She is currently chair of the AMIDEAST/Lebanon Board, Co-Chair of Kulluna Irada, VP of President Bechara El Khoury Association for Democratic Practice and sits on the boards of various non-profit organizations, namely Embrace, the Beiteddine Festival, the Lebanese Red Cross, and Mission Joy. She holds a BA in Human Development from LAU and an Executive MBA from AUB.
George Karam
Managing Director, Korn Ferry
George is an executive and member of advisory boards with 34 years of experience focused on human, organization, and society development. His career is split working 22 years in Consulting primarily at Korn Ferry (previously Hay Group) in various roles in North America and the Middle East; and 12 years at the World Bank Group’s Washington, D.C. headquarters in several organization reform and human capital leadership roles including compensation, benefits, insurance, and pension. He has taken leadership roles on many reforms: Country offices compensation and pension, Compensation reform, and the Human Capital reform which was part of a comprehensive reorganization of the World Bank Group’s operating model. In addition to leading the fastest growing consulting business of its kind in the region, George is also directly involved in public sector reforms working with government officials to achieve the ambitious modernization agendas in the Middle East. George is a regular speaker on key subjects related to organization and people effectiveness. George is a member of the Advisory Council, Human Resource Management program at Olayan School of Business at the American University of Beirut, and a member of the advisory board of Embrace, an NGO dedicated to mental health. George is a graduate of the Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School, has an MBA in Management from Lincoln University of San Francisco and a BA in Business from the American University of Beirut.
Dina Zameli
Philanthropist
Dina began her professional path in Educational Psychology with a focus on children with special needs and their families in multidisciplinary Center’s as well as mainstream educational institutions. Her field of expertise is behaviour modification and child development.
After many years in practice, she started her own projects organising events and workshops for the youth with the main focus on raising awareness about global issues and their impact on the society using the media of Art and Design.
Dina pursued her education at AUB in General Psychology, Elementary Education and Educational Psychology. She also graduated with a Master’s in Business Administration.
